Forgeon supports multiple regions per project.

How to choose a region

Pick the closest region to your users
Use staging in the same region as prod for parity

Practical region strategy

Keep staging and prod in the same region for parity.
Add a second region only when traffic/latency proves the need.
Avoid changing region during active incident response unless necessary.

Troubleshooting

Latency still high after region change

Confirm DNS/domain points to the correct active deployment.
Check whether bottleneck is downstream DB/API, not edge distance.
